1. ISLE OF MAN TT
The Isle of Man TT races are back with an unmissable event. Return to form at the home of real road racing for information about where to stay, where to watch and how to get there.
The Isle of Man becomes a paradise for motorcycle enthusiasts every May and June. That’s when the world’s best road racers come to challenge themselves on the amazing ‘Mountain Course’ – a 37.73 mile monster of a track that uses the Island’s public roads that are closed for the event.
2. LONDON MOTOR SHOW
The UK’s largest car show is back! Head to Evolution Battersea Park in London in the summer to see a whole host of cars and learn about the latest technological innovations. Carl Cox Motor Sport also displays a selection of vehicles from his private selection alongside all the big car brands, plus an exciting selection of historic and iconic vehicles.
3. LONDON CLASSIC CAR SHOW
2023 marks the 9th annual London Classic Car Show. More than 700 stunning classic cars will be on display alongside a feast of additional attractions to entertain and inspire show-goers of all ages. From vintage Formula 1 racing cars to American muscle cars, it’s the undeniable event of the season for the UK’s car enthusiasts
4. LE MANS 24 HOUR RACE
The 2023 Le Mans race will be the 90th running of the world’s most famous endurance race, held in La Sarthe on the legendary circuit. It’s the pinnacle of sports car racing featuring the best cars and famous drivers over a gruelling 24 hours.
5. FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX
Watch the British Grand Prix in person as the Formula One season comes to Silverstone racetrack. The three-day weekend event is a celebration of motorsport, with some of the best cars and drivers out on the track. There’s a range of ticket packages available, from grabbing a seat in the grandstands to exclusive access to the T1 Enclosure area.
6. GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED
The Festival of Speed calls itself the largest and most famous of all the car shows on the calendar. Held over a long summer weekend at Goodwood Estate in Chichester, the Festival is an extravaganza to celebrate motorsport, from Edwardian classic cars right through to cutting-edge supercars and F1 models. Enjoy the famous Hillclimb and supercar run for your dose of speed, and check out the FOS Future Lab for a look into the future of motoring.
7. CARFEST RETRO, NORTH AND SOUTH
It’s a true car festival, with car exhibits and races alongside live music stages, food and drink venues and funfair rides. New for this year, Retro CarFest celebrates classic and iconic cars in a truly ‘retro’ setting with a roller disco, vinyl fair and performances from some of the finest tribute bands money can buy. All the proceeds go to UK Children’s charities too.
8. IAA – INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW – FORMER FRANKFURT MOTOR SHOW
Hannover is now set to host the completely redesigned IAA, previously held in Frankfurt as the Frankfurt Motor Show. The autumn event sees many carmakers showing their new designs and models to the world. See highlights from the incredible German automotive industry and explore the latest concept cars and technological ideas. The Bavarian capital is set to help the IAA continue to evolve from a motor show into a mobility platform where visitors can get a glance into technological advances and the future of mobility
9. THE BRITISH MOTORS SHOW
Making a return for 2023, The British Motor Show combines past, present and future into 4 days’ worth of car content. At Farnborough International Expo Centre, brands will be showcasing their latest cars, and you can even look at famous industry faces on The Live Stage. There are stunt shows, pro-drifting, passenger rides with the Sporting Bears, supercars, motorsport, classic cars, monster trucks and The Technology Hall for all the latest motoring tech. Ahead of the main event will be The Virtual Motor Show to deliver the latest news, car releases and expert advice.
10. MOTORCYCLE LIVE
Hop on two wheels for the UK’s largest motorbike show at the NEC Birmingham. See incredible motorbike displays and speak to manufacturers about all your questions. You can also sit on the bikes and try out the best accessories and merchandise. There are live events, including stunt displays, a wheel challenge, a show of strength and a Question of Bikes quiz.
